(I did eat the rest of the packet btw, there were loads!!!) And the last thing, L&P, was the one thing I really wanted to get at the shop, but I couldn’t find at first. Found an array of crisps, mostly in huge packs, and so I bought one of the 3 packets of crisps that wasn’t party sized. I’m kind of apprehensive about having New Zealand chocolate after the reviews I’ve heard comparing it to English chocolate, so I kind of skipped past those. So I popped down the next aisle and I found the sweets and crisps. Before I picked them up it only had the bag of jumpers I bought at the op shop (for $3 btw □ win!!) and it feels weird walking round a shop without picking anything up. It also made me feel better about walking round the store with my trolley. They looked tasty and were only a few dollars, so I was more than happy to pick them up. The tim tams were the first thing I picked up. So I walked up and down the aisles, sort of slowly, taking in the products and annoying the customers who were actually there to shop rather than have a nose :). When you’re not working there supermarkets are really exiting places, especially when you don’t know where anything is and what they stock. It was my first trip into a supermarket in New Zealand (I’d been in some smaller shops, kind of like the co-op, but never a large supermarket), so the first thing I did was grab a trolley and hold back my urge to run around like a small child. If you subscribe on youtube or have me on facebook, then you already know that I’ve made a video, so there’s not much point on a blog telling you that. So with that in mind, perhaps a story about my trip to the supermarket to get the food would be good? I feel like I should add extra things to these video blog posts. (A bit of a cop out with the foods I know □ I’ll get some more interesting foods next time) So this will hopefully help me get over this issue. I figure that I’m actually quite fussy about food and would love to be able to experiment more (For example I usually hate courgettes, but I had them in this pie thing, and I enjoyed them :)). I’ve decided to do a series on youtube where I try out a variety of new foods from the countries I’m travelling in.
